Flower crowns on Snapchat can stay in 2016, but the bohemian chic trend just doesn’t seem to quit. And we don’t mind at all.
From weddings to home decor, boho vibes have gone beyond local hipster to a mainstream trend. Like plastic on our grandparents couches, our kids will remember growing up with succulents, gallery walls, macramé, and burlap all around.
I got married almost seven years ago and had a pretty laid back wedding, compared to most (I had a destination wedding). That was 2010, when the farmhouse weddings of today were not a thing, but I wish they were! I absolutely love the flowy-looking drapery all around a lush backyard or open setting, lace wedding dresses, baby’s breath bouquets, and the Coachella looking guests enjoying themselves.
It’s easy to understand why this trend won’t stop. The details are few, meaningful, inexpensive, and mostly floral.
Here are a few of the bohemian staples that are coming with us in 2017:
So I mentioned flower crowns earlier, but now I am talking about the real ones. They are great for the bride, bridesmaids, or guests. They are also beautiful additions to a maternity or engagement photo shoot.

Green boho arrangements are rustic, and chic. Adding eucalytpus, palmetto, or ferns (yes, ferns) to a distressed wooden vase with branches gives you a modern centerpiece for any occasion. Succulent bunches are also a gorgeous and modern twist. Place large ones in your backdrop to add a pop of color to your photos. Or, create a beautiful arch at the altar.

This fabric in bright colors adds texture to your event. They can be wrapped around bouquets, candles, or napkins for a delicate touch.
Bronze and copper are the new metallics. Cups in this color are all over your Instagram feed for a reason. They look gorgeous at any place setting along with matching metallic chargers and dining accessories.
