The end is near and in 10 short days, 2015 will be over. It’s the time of the year when we celebrate the season with our family and friends, but also a time when we sit back and reflect on the amazing (and not so amazing things) that have transpired over the past year. I will remember this year as one filled with trials and transitions, which in turn has allowed me to embark into 2016 with courage.I can say with great enthusiasm that I am truly grateful for every single thing that has happened this year in my life. There are those amazing moments where we enjoy the “high” of life and also those moments that offer valuable lessons that help us move further down our path a bit wiser. I will remember this year as one of trials and transitions which in turn has filled me with courage.
Being courageous doesn’t always mean being the loudest, or being willing to take on things without thought or preparation. Some confuse being stupid with being courageous because they don’t truly understand that there are legitimate reasons to be fearful in certain instances. Real courage allows us to see things as they truly are and to take risks after recognizing the challenge ahead. Choosing to be brave should be motivated by passion instead of being motivated by a hopeful gain in reputation or credibility.
I invite you to join me in taking bold action in your life daily by truly being who you are in every way. Never let any words, circumstances, or fears get in your way of what will truly let you live life freely. But in doing so, never forget what it is that you stand for. Never blindly overlook danger in an effort to receive gratification from others. Be courageous because it represents who you sincerely are as a person.
Life is full of the unexpected, especially when you are willing to celebrate it through the good times, and the bad times. Though we may not receive everything that we have ever hoped for in the time in which we expected to, we can never let these disappointments stop us from keeping a positive attitude. Everything that you do and everything that you go through are experiences that may help to provide great value to your life if you are just willing to look at them as tools for learning. Look for the good in every situation, and never fear the struggle of getting to the number one spot in your life.
During our time away, we will be re-posting our most popular posts from 2015 on all of our social media pages over the next six weeks and will resume live blogging and posting on February 8, 2016. In the meantime, I want to take this moment to thank you for all the support I have received from all of you.
Have a very happy, fabulous, and safe holiday! Here’s to a wonderful New Year!
